Foundation, a charitable, tax-exempt,
501(c)(3), was established in the United
States in 2000 to advocate for and
support not-for-profit institutions
working for Haiti. It offers technical,
promotional and financial assistance to
local networks that seek to develop
sustainable and thriving operations.
Located in cities, towns and rural areas
in Haiti, Eritaj’s partners provide services
in the areas of education and
literacy, health care and disease prevention,
relief, agriculture and community
development.
Does your organization

1. supports projects in Haiti
2. needs non-profit status in the
United States to conduct
fundraising
3. must strengthen operations and
processes
4. has inadequate financial and
technical resources
5. lacks full time staff to conduct

Requirements
1. Organization has an operation in Haiti in education, health, agriculture or community
development in Haiti
2. Organization is committed to fulfilling the rules and principles which govern a non profit
institution: transparency, accountability, fairness, striving to establish organizational
structure
3. Eritaj collects 10% of fundraising and proposals secured on projects behalf for its
operations
4. Fill and send the Organization Profile form with a copy of project’s mission and objectives
and the annual fee, calculated as follows:
Organization with an annual operational budget:
Under $50,000:
contributes $100.00
Between $100,000 and $49,000:
contributes $150.00
Between $300,000 and 99,000:
contributes $300.00
Above $300,000:
contributes $500.00
